Residency Requirements
We do not have residency requirements as long as you live in the state of Michigan. We do ask that you bring in a valid photo ID if you're over the age of 18 Minimum Age
We do not have a minimum age to give a child a library card. We do require that a parent or legal guardian signs for any minor. Check Out Time
Most items in our collection can be checked out for two weeks at a time. The only exclusions to this are music CDs and DVDs which have a loan period of one week. Expiration Date and Renewal
Our library cards expire one year from your initial application or your most recent renewal. Renewing is easy! Verify your contact information over the phone or at the circulation desk. Download and print the application below and bring it to the circulation desk or fill out the online submission form to get your card and start borrowing items.

Online Application
Please fill out the form below to apply for a limited, 30-day, Northfield Township Area Library borrower’s card. Once your application is processed, we will provide your card information via e-mail. You will still be required to visit Northfield Township Area Library to complete the registration process and pick up your new library card. |
