Michigan Activity Pass
The Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) allows NTAL cardholders to print or obtain a digital pass that grants free or reduced-fee admission, or other discounts, at more than 100 participating institutions statewide. Notary Public
Many members of the staff are certified notary publics and are able to notarize your documents free of charge. Walk-ins are welcome, but call ahead to ensure a notary is available. Computers
We have public computers in the Library for public use, no appointment necessary. We also have tablets with educational games available for use in the children's section. You will need your library card and pin number to access a computer. If you do not have a card, request a guest pass from the circulation desk. 1-on-1 Help Sessions
If you need basic tech help such as using our digital services and resources, using your phone, tablet or computer, or using a specific software, we offer one hour long computer help sessions covering some basics. These sessions are free and are offered on the spot during business hour. No appointment is necessary, but if you you would like to make an appointment, call us at (734) 449-0066, send an email to [email protected], or submit a request using the form below. WiFi
We have WiFi available for public use. You can connect using your phone, tablet, or personal computer without a login or password. Our WiFi extends to our parking lot for use even when we are closed. Simply agree to our Terms of Service when you open a web browser and you are connected. |
Room Reservations
Our multipurpose room is available for use for your civic, cultural, or educational event free of charge. Reserve the space by filling out the application below and bringing it to the circulation desk. The outdoor pavilion may be used when not in use by library events, but not reserved ahead of time. Ancestry Library Edition
The Library is very pleased to offer the use of Ancestry Library Edition to patrons and visitors! This database provides unprecedented access to your family history, with over 7,000 databases of historical documents from North America, the U.K., Europe, Australia, and more. Printing, Copying, Scanning, and Faxing
We have one public scanner free for patron use, or we can help at the circulation desk. We provide pay-per-page printing and copying. Log on to one of our computers, send your document to our printer, and accept the fees. You can also send an email to [email protected] with your documents to be printed attached as a pdf. Black and White Copies or Prints $0.10 per page* Color Copies or Prints $1.00 per page* Faxes $0.10 per page We will only send faxes. We will not receive faxes. Scans $0.10 per page (when scanned at the circulation desk) Laminating
Drop off your documents to be laminated with any special instructions. You will be notified within two business days for pick up. $0.75 per linear foot* *Suggested donation amount.
We accept cash, check, credit, and debit. There is a $0.25 fee on all card-based transactions.* |
