As news and information regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) escalates, the Northfield Township Area Library will follow guidance from the Washtenaw County Department of Health, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding any new developments. Our building is cleaned daily, and our staff are taking extra precautions to frequently wipe down surfaces. We will continue our practices of cleaning and sanitizing our building. Additionally, we have developed a pandemic procedural plan to help guide us as this continues to progress.

- AT&T will waive late payment fees and will not terminate a customer’s service due to inability to pay their bill due to disruptions caused by COVID-19. Call (800) 288-2020 if you need help paying your bill.
- Sprint will waive late payment fees and will not terminate a customer’s service due to inability to pay their bill due to disruptions caused by COVID-19.
- Verizon will waive late payment fees and will not terminate a customer’s service due to inability to pay their bill due to disruptions caused by COVID-19.
- T-mobile: The mobile phone service provider is providing unlimited data to all current customers who have plans with data for the next 60 days. It will also provide additional data to mobile hotspot users.
- Comcast offering ‘Internet Essentials’ package free for low-income customers for 60 days
- Charter will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription at any service level up to 100 Mbps. To enroll call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.
